Due to the unprecedented bandwidth and efficiency, DP80 has the highest data rate (77.37gbps), which is nearly triple of what DP 1.4 has (25.92gbps). Therefore, it can support the highest resolution and the highest refresh rate, 16K60Hz (DSC) and 10K60Hz the maximum. Besides, it is also backward compatible with the existing devices.
The DisplayPort 2.1 DP80 UHBR Enhanced full-size DP Cable to Enhanced full-size DP 1m and USB-C to Enhanced full-size DP 1m from JCE passed the “DisplayPort 2.1 Specification” under the DisplayPort UHBR Certification Program with VESA ATC Granite River Labs (GRL).
